Beware Bogus Diet Plans

tinfoilchef.com I found a recipe for salmon patty burgers that I’m going to be trying (and changing to suit me of course) today, if it turns out as good as it sounds I’ll be doing a video on how to make it soon. I’m also working on a new episode of “Points of View” that will be going up on my “Iamnotahamster” channel either tonight or tomorrow. Why is it that most people vlogging about weight loss are women and most (not all) of the guys doing videos about it are actually just selling …

at one time it could have been a 90 day deal but it is not any more.

  • MrHMiracle says:

this is a quote from the actual click bank sales page “Please remember that this is just a ONE TIME CHARGE, and you’ll never be billed again for anything. *Whichever package you choose………you’ll only be charged ONCE and you’ll never be billed again, so you can feel safe when ordering.”

  • MrHMiracle says:

@TinFoilChefDotCom oh and guess what that info on 3 chicks is out dated. .FatLoss4Idiots ($27 U.S./$31.47 Cdn for 90-day access to website)

thats not the price and it is a one time fee now!

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

Oh I’ll check it out, though the new video is already rendering so anything I have to say about that forum will be in a later video

  • MrHMiracle says:

@TinFoilChefDotCom well since your making another video then maybe you should check out the fat loss 4 idiots forum so you can get more info. they even have a place that has success stories and people that it didnt work for.

    fatloss4idiotsforum(dot)com

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

based on that comment I can only assume that you didn’t bother to read the page I provided. That’s ok, wait for my next video and I’ll read it for everyone

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

just because something can be returned does not mean it isn’t a scam.

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

I haven’t said anything that isn’t true. Watch for my next video

  • MrHMiracle says:

here is a quote from you “people promoting it have, in their promotional efforts, made it VERY difficult for Joe Customer to find honest reviews”

So what does that mean when you flat out lie in your reviews. I think it kinda hurts your credibility.

  • MrHMiracle says:

and guess what if you bought it and you don’t like it then you can just return it.

so there is no loss for you because you can try it for several sessions and if it doesn’t work then freaking return it. so how can that be a scam.

It would be a scam if you buy it and you cant return it.

  • MrHMiracle says:

@TinFoilChefDotCom I have no problem with you giving your opinion. But if you make stuff up and lie. Foe example: you say, that people have to keep paying over and over again every month is a flat out lie.. And you don’t lose water weight and then gain it all back. If you bought the program they tell you up front that you shouldn’t expect to lose 9 pounds in 11 days. They do say it is possible but most people don’t. They also say you get out of it what you put into it, just like any diet.

  • f83yut8 says:

it’s even easier when it’s actually crap

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

IF you’ve lost weight then congratulations to you. However in all my searching to find out more about this thing, it was very difficult to find reviews that were not written by people trying to promote it. However after WEEKS of searching I did fine ONE actual objective review.

    3fatchicks(dot)com(slash)the-idiot-proof-diet

After reading that review I can draw no conclusion other than this “diet” is a scam and I stand by that opinion.

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

making money is fine and I have no problem with affiliate programs in and of themselves. What I did have a problem with concerning fatloss4idiots is that BECAUSE it’s an affiliate product, people promoting it have, in their promotional efforts, made it VERY difficult for Joe Customer to find honest reviews by people that have used it instead of phony “reviews” that were written by people trying to build links from article sites

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

Actually it so happens that I have a clickbank account and know full well how their system works. I’m also aware that there are good products being sold through them. It is simply my opinion that fatloss4idiots is not one of them.

  • MrHMiracle says:

and guess what, If it is a click bank product they give you 8 weeks to try it out and if you dont like it you can return it and get a full refund.

Most stores don’t give you 8 weeks to try something.

It really pisses me off when people like you don’t have a clue to how things work and you just run your mouth off and lie to people.

  • MrHMiracle says:

Just to let you know buying something online from an affiliate is no different then buying something from in a store that advertises a product. The people invest there time and money building websites should be able to make money just like someone that owns a store.

  • MrHMiracle says:

Its easy to say something is crap when you have your head up your ass.

  • MrHMiracle says:

OK sir you are the Idiot, First of all you know nothing at all about this diet. The price is a one time fee and thats it . You do not keep paying monthly at all. And as far as losing water weight well your wrong there to because this diet has you drinking a lot of water . You cant even get the diet sessions right. How can you say something you know nothing about.

I am on this diet and I have lost over 30 pounds so far and 5 inches off my waste.

  • bowulf says:

I have to admit I was well at goal by the time I started my videos and vlogging in 2006. I hope though they can help inspire others that goal is indeed possible even from someone weighing over 400 pounds.

I agree with your assessment of fatloss4idiots. Anything that relies upon a trick or a method is likely doomed for failure or short term results. I would soon tired of the cycle and eat the way I wanted more rather than less.

  • BethinNCblogger says:

Yep, it was when I cut out white flour and soft drinks, started eating healthy — that I dropped almost 60 pounds. I finally figured it out.

  • TinFoilChefDotCom says:

That’s why those that *really* know what they’re talking about when it comes to weight loss are always talking about a lifestyle change.

Lots of diets can help you take off the weight but if after you’ve lost that weight you go back to eating and living the way you did before.. poof, you’re back to where you started and then some.

  • BethinNCblogger says:

Separate idiots from their money — lol.

Thanks for doing the research. That was interesting.

I’m telling you — I did one of the “purchase the food” from the company “diets” a couple of times — years ago. Yes, the food is low glycemic, low carb, etc … and the weight falls off, but then when the real food was back — BOOM! The pounds came back and brought friends with them.
