A Diabetic Diet Option: Become A Vegetarian

An easy way for a diabetic to help regulate their diet is to start on a vegetarian diet. The vegetarian diet compliments a diabetic diet by helping you maintain a normal level of blood sugar and also has some extra heath benefits as well. While the vegetarian diet does help lower your blood sugar, it also has some other side benefits as well. One of these benefits is that it helps you get off your diabetic medications, including insulin injections. I think there should be some explanation that balanced consumption of protein is even more critical for diabetics.

Great, simple-to-comprehend video. Some of us become vegetarian because we love animals and do not want to be part of a food chain of violence in the killing of them for consumption. Others choose this diet for health reasons. We all are aware of antibiotics and growth hormones fed to livestock, which remain in the meat. Also, meat, particularly chicken, developes carcinogens as it cooks. This is not always understood by the general public.
